BSA Troop 447 is a fun, Scout-led community dedicated to fostering leadership, character development, and outdoor skills in youth ages 11-17. Established in 1950, Troop 447 has a long history of fostering leadership and life skills among Montgomery County, Maryland youth.
As a troop, we pride ourselves on providing exciting and educational adventures that instill a love for the outdoors and a sense of responsibility to our community. Whether it's mastering wilderness survival techniques, honing teamwork through challenging hikes, or learning essential life skills, Troop 447 is committed to preparing our scouts for a lifetime of success.

Think you may want to join the troop? Come visit one of our weekly troop meetings! We meet every Tuesday in the Murdock Room (Lower Level) of Christ Episcopal Church in the Rockville Town Center, 7:30 to 9 p.m.
